In January, more than 100 leaders and experts from across Africa and the Nordics gathered in Stockholm for the inaugural African–Nordic Health Summit to explore what stronger partnerships across regions and sectors look like in practice.

The Summit was packed with insightful panel debates, discussions, and keynote addresses, featuring more than 30 speakers throughout the day. The report from the inaugural African-Nordic Health Summit provides a snapshot of the conversations in Stockholm and aims to support the continued dialogue among partners as we prepare for the next convening in Kigali 2027. More information about the African–Nordic Health Summit can be found on the platform’s website.

The Secretariat of the Danish Alliance for Global Health, together with the Group of Women African Ambassadors to the Nordics, Maternity Foundation, and Dalberg Media, co-founded this platform.
