Global Health
The Alliance convened the Danish Expert Group on Global Health and works closely with similar initiatives across the Nordic countries. Through continuous dialogue with experts, we ensure that our advocacy is grounded in evidence and up-to-date expertise. Our aim is to influence political priorities and help ensure that Denmark lives up to its potential as frontrunner in global health. Events
We host a wide range of events throughout the year – from smaller, closed-door gatherings to larger public events with many participants. Through these events, we share the latest knowledge and perspectives on development cooperation and global health, while fostering dialogue between partners across sectors to foster innovative solutions and partnerships. Political Study Trips
We organize study trips to give decision-makers direct insight into how Danish development assistance, partnerships and priorities translate into local development. With a focus on both national and multilateral efforts, the trips show how political strategies are put into practice – and help strengthen the knowledge base for future development policy decisions.
African-Nordic
Health Summit
We are a co-founder and co-organiser of the African–Nordic Health Summit, which brings together Nordic and African leaders across sectors around a shared purpose: accelerating practical solutions and scaling financing that strengthens health systems, expands access and delivers measurable impact for communities at scale.
