The Alliance for Global Health is a politically independent platform that brings together civil society, the private sector, the multilateral system, foundations and research institutions around a shared ambition: for Denmark to once again become a frontrunner in global health. We believe that involving a broader range of actors in development cooperation is essential to developing and scaling innovative solutions that benefit more people around the world.
Our work
Evidence & analysis
In close collaboration with experts, we make complex global health data accessible in a way that supports policy development and decision-making. We map trends and develop analyses that inform the public debate, ensuring that our recommendations and initiatives are always grounded in solid and new evidence.
Dialogue & awareness
We foster dialogue and raise awareness about global health and development through panel discussions, workshops, presentations, social media, and contributions to the press. Our aim is to broaden and qualify the debate on development cooperation and global health in Denmark – making it an issue that more people understand, engage with and act on.
Advocacy efforts & capacity-building
We advance the global health agenda through direct advocacy, including political study trips and meetings with elected representatives, to help turn political ambition into action. Through capacity building and knowledge sharing with our members and partners, we help demonstrate how Danish development assistance makes impact.
